Nina said they were good about getting her vehicle ready and they did a good job, but she was unhappy with the price. She was told the work would cost $100 for the part, plus labor, but she searched for the part on Google later on and saw it was only $30.
Thanks Nina for the review/comment! I did want to follow up on the parts issue--we truly appreciate our customers and I want you to be happy with all aspects of your repair. We don't purchase our parts from the Internet, rather we buy from hand-picked local suppliers. This ensures you get a quality part--and I want to emphasize "quality"--for the best price possible... this also supports our local community. I can assure you that we ourselves paid more than $30 for your part. The marking up of parts not only helps us cover costs with regard to the "transactional" side of parts supply, but is part of how we earn our living and pay the bills. It's also standard in the automotive industry. Additionally, when you purchase parts through our shop, you receive a one year/12,000 mile warranty if anything were to go wrong with the part, to include labor. I hope this helps to explain why we do what we do, and again, I appreciate your business--and the time you took to give feedback! Scott Lokey, Owner
